Patrick O’Quinn leads the emerging brands business at Consensus. His work focuses on growth capital, strategic advisory, and M&A for companies across the consumer spectrum.
Mr. O’Quinn also leads the Next Great Consumer Brands, a program for high-potential consumer and retail companies. The program culminates in an annual conference in New York, and its participants have included some of the most respected brands and executives in the emerging consumer space. He further supports the ecosystem of founders and rising consumer brands with Next Level, an investment firm for exceptional consumer brand startups, where he is a member of the board.
Before Consensus, Mr. O’Quinn was a partner with Eleven Capital, a boutique investment and advisory firm. While there, Mr. O’Quinn invested in and advised early stage and emerging companies. Previously, Mr. O’Quinn was the assistant general counsel and deputy to the chief legal officer of Roper Technologies, a Fortune 1,000 and NYSE-traded holding company. There, he served as principal legal counsel to the company’s 50 business units and 250 subsidiaries around the world. His work focused on mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international transactions, corporate and legal strategies, and portfolio company operations.
Earlier, Mr. O’Quinn was senior counsel at Global Signal, a private equity-backed, NYSE-traded company. Prior to that, Mr. O’Quinn was an executive with a sports management company, where he represented professional baseball players from Latin America as an agent and attorney.
Mr. O’Quinn holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and a Bachelor of Science from Babson College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and captained the baseball team. Mr. O’Quinn is a member of the Massachusetts Bar (attorneys) and is FINRA Series 79 and 63 certified.
