Patrick O’Quinn joined Consensus in 2015. At Consensus, Mr. O’Quinn leads the emerging companies business. His work focuses on growth capital for brands across the consumer spectrum. He also leads the Next Great Consumer Brands, a program for high-potential consumer and retail companies in partnership with Nasdaq. The program culminates in an annual conference at Nasdaq in Times Square.

Before Consensus, Mr. O’Quinn was a partner with Eleven Capital, a boutique investment and advisory firm. While there, Mr. O’Quinn worked with early-stage and emerging growth companies, and held a number of executive positions with consumer-facing enterprises. Previously, Mr. O’Quinn was the assistant general counsel and deputy to the chief legal officer of Roper Technologies, a Fortune 1,000 and NYSE-traded holding company. There, he served as principal legal counsel to the company’s 50 business units and 250 subsidiaries around the world. His work focused on mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international transactions, corporate and legal strategies, and portfolio company operations.

Earlier, Mr. O’Quinn was senior counsel at Global Signal, a private equity-backed, NYSE-traded company. Prior to that, Mr. O’Quinn was an executive with a sports management company, where he represented professional baseball players from Latin America as an agent and attorney.

Mr. O’Quinn holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School, and a Bachelor of Science from Babson College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He serves on the board of directors of Nxtfour, a software company in the education technology industry. Mr. O’Quinn is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is FINRA Series 79 and 63 certified.
